Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing Antibody Test Kit (ELISA)
Principle
The kit uses the principle of a competition assay to detect neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in serum or plasma samples. First, the sample to be tested, the positive control, and the negative control are mixed with HRP-RBD so that the neutralizing antibody binds to HRP-RBD, and then the mixture is added to a capture plate pre coated with hACE2 protein. HRP-RBD not bound to neutralizing antibody as well as any HRP-RBD bound to non-neutralizing antibody will be captured on the coated plate, while HRP-RBD complex bound to neutralizing antibody is removed during washing. TMB solution was then added to develop color. Finally, stop solution was added and the reaction was terminated. The presence or absence of Anti-SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibody in the sample was judged by absorbance (A-value) detection by a microplate reader.
