Hepatitis A virus IgM Test Cassette(Colloidal gold)
Principle
Hepatitis A virus IgM Test Cassette is immunochromatography based. Nitrocellulose-based membrane pre-coated with mouse anti-Hepatitis A Virus antibodies (C line) and mouse anti-human IgM antibodies (T line). And colloidal gold-labeled Hepatitis A Virus antigens were fixed on the conjugate pad.
When an appropriate amount of test specimen is added into sample well, the sample will move forward along the test card via capillary action. If the Hepatitis A Virus IgM antibodies level in the specimen is at or above the detection limit of the test, it will bind to the colloidal gold-labeled Hepatitis A Virus antigen. The antibody/antigen complex will be captured by the anti-human IgM antibody immobilized on the membrane, forming a red T line and indicating a positive result for the IgM antibody. The surplus colloidal gold-labeled Hepatitis A Virus antigen will bind to anti-Hepatitis A Virus polyclonal antibody and form a red C line. When Hepatitis A Virus IgM antibody presents in the specimen, the cassette will appear two visible line. If Hepatitis A Virus IgM antibodies are not present in the sample or below the LoD, the cassette will only appear C line.
