Principle
Measles virus IgM antibody (MV-IgM) ELISA is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the qualitative detection of IgM-class antibodies to Measles virus in human serum or plasma. It is intended to be used in clinical laboratories for diagnosis and management of patients related to infection with Measles virus.
Measles is one of the most common acute respiratory infectious diseases in children, and it is highly contagious. It is easy to occur in densely populated areas without universal vaccination, and a pandemic will occur in about 2-3 years. Clinically, it is characterized by fever, upper respiratory tract inflammation, conjunctivitis, etc., which is characterized by red maculopapules on the skin, measles mucosal spots on the buccal mucosa and pigmentation with bran-like desquamation after rash.
